Marvel has taken the stage at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 with some of their upcoming projects.
For the Black Panther panel director Ryan Coogler was joined by stars Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, and the latest confirmed addition to the cast, The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira.

Ryan Coolger said he made his comic con appeared back in 2009, and was expected to be on the other side of the stage.
Boseman was welcomed with enormous cheers. “There’s a lot I can say after the movie has come out,” said Boseman. “I cannot wait for Ryan to show you more.” The actor, who also made his first Con appearance, said he could fee the excitement in his core.
Lupita Nyong’o and Michael B. Jordan were confirmed for the cast. Both Nyong’o and Jordan were previously reported to be in talks for roles.
Jordan, who is playing the villain named Eric Killmonger, said he was extremely excited to be a part of the cast but could not reveal too much because Ryan hasn’t told him anything.
Nyong’o is playing a character named Nakia, and the newly confirmed Gurira is playing Okoye. They are members of the Dora Milaje, a group of warrior women and some of the best fighters in the kingdom of Wakanda. Nyong’o said she is looking forward to kicking ass.
While they could not show any footage, Coogler said he would take the energy from Hall H at Comic-Con and put into their work.
Marvel also unveiled a new logo for the movie, which can be seen above.
