At San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow panel revealed lots of exciting stuff coming up in season 2, plus a first look trailer. The panel included Caity Lotz (Sara Lance aka White Canary), Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), newcomer Nick Zano, and Dominic Purcell (Mick Rory aka Heatwave).

“History has been left unguarded.”

First of all, the Legion of Doom will be a part of the villainous landscape and will consist of Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) and Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) from Arrow, the Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) from The Flash, and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) from Flash and Legends. All of these guys have died on their respective shows at least once and were fantastic. My heart broke into particular pieces when Captain Cold sacrificed himself after kissing White Canary (Caity Lotz) goodbye.

We already knew that the Justice Society of America was showing up because of last season’s ender and the appearance of Rex Tyler (Patrick J. Adams). Citizen Steel (Nick Zano) and Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) will join, as well as Stargirl and Captain Mid-Nite.

The first look video shows a confrontation between Darhk and Sara. She’s been waiting a long time for this… for Laurel.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returns Thursday, October 13th on The CW.
