We are getting closer and closer to seeing Ransom Riggs’ fantastical world burst onto the big screen with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children on September 30th. Asa Butterfield stars as Jake, the boy who tries to help the Peculiar children, after traveling to their home in the past, based on a mystery from his grandfather. Jake also discovers his own unique and useful ability – which might be the most important of all in the battles to come.

In the pics you can see a drawing and a photograph of Samuel L Jackson as the evil leader of the wights named Barron, being stopped by the breath of Ella Purnell, who plays Emma, a Peculiar with really strong breath.
Directed by Tim Burton (perfect!), the film also stars Eva Green, Chris O’Dowd, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Kim Dickens, Rupert Everett, and Judi Dench.
