Anthony and Joe Russo‘s Captain America: Civil War will hit store shelves next week, but the two are already busy at work getting ready for Avengers: Infinity War, the first of the final two films of Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now filming isn’t expected to begin until later this fall, but that isn’t stopping the two from doing some pre-production. A new photo of said pre-production has been released by the brothers, and it shows Josh Brolin in a motion-capture suit. Check out the photo below.

The photo itself doesn’t tell us much of anything and the lack of a caption provides even less information. However, that is Brolin is in a motion-capture suit, with the Russos probably giving him some early direction of the film and what the Mad Titan will be doing in the Avengers film.

When we last saw Thanos, he put on the Infinity Gauntlet before proclaiming that he would do it himself. Obviously this is referring to the fact that he will be collecting the stones on his own. So could that mean that Thanos will be collecting all the stones in one fell swoop in Infinity War, or will he “acquire” them in the remaining Phase three films of the MCU. Whether or not he knew he had one in his possession when he gave the staff, which had the Mind Stone, to Loki is still unclear.

But clearly he is orchestrating these events so that the Stones can be easily acquired as noted by Thor in Avengers: Age of Ultron. With the Mind Stone embedded onto Vision’s forehead, the Tesseract at Asgard, the Aether with the Collector, and the Power Gem under the watch of the Nova Corp, it should be interesting to see how he gets those four considering that they are scattered across the universe. It remains to be seen when the other two will appear, but in order for Thanos to complete his collection, he will need to find out who has them.

The Time Stone and Soul Stone could appear in Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, or even Black Panther. We’ll be sure to keep you up do date on the development of the film.

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4, 2018.
