Violent Delights is a weekly podcast where hosts Andrew Sorcini, Dwayne DeFreitas, and Tosin Onafowokan discuss HBO’s Westworld, and the larger questions this ambitious show hopes to tackle.

Elsie (Shannon Woodward) and Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth) head into the hills in pursuit of a missing host. Teddy (James Marsden) gets a new backstory, which sets him off in pursuit of a new villain, leaving Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) alone in Sweetwater. Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) investigates the origins of madness and hallucinations within the hosts. William (Jimmi Simpson) finds an attraction he’d like to pursue and drags Logan (Ben Barnes) along for the ride.

This week, Andrew, Dwayne, and Tosin deconstruct Westworld Episode 1.3 “The Stray” as they ask, What’s is Bernard trying to achieve with Dolores? What happened to Arnold? What’s the significance of Orion? What is at the heart of Ford’s new narrative? Why did the stray self-sabotage? What will happen when Dolores discovers “who she is”?
