Director Stanley Kubrick‘s adaptation of Stephen King‘s horror classic The Shining is a terrifying movie, everyone knows this. But what makes the movie so scary, so unsettling, so darn creepy?
YouTube channel Lessons From the Screenplay dives into the film in a new video titled “The Shining “” Quietly Going Insane Together.” The video touches on Kubrick and co-writer Diane Johnson‘s process in crafting it, before moving on to what exactly makes it so creepy.
