Before the year comes to an end, Disney and Lucasfilm will release Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the first spinoff in the Star Wars cinematic franchise. It seems fitting that the film will center on the untold story of how a group of rebels obtain the plans to the Death Star. We’ve seen plenty of trailers showing us just how different the tone will be from the saga films. Director Gareth Evans takes audiences to a ground war, where rebels and stormtroopers battle through all sorts of terrain whether that’s in the slums or storming the beaches.

Now, just a few weeks before the film is released, we are getting another trailer. And this isn’t just a compilation of scenes we have seen before. It’s an international trailer and there is all sorts of new footage to check out. One thing that stands out is the fact that Jyn is holding what looks like a Kyber crystal. Check it out below.

This new trailer opens with that sweeping shot of Imperial starship flying through the blue sky over a sandy shore, already establishing that this will be nothing like the saga films. While that may have been the same opening shot we saw in the previous trailer, there are a few new key elements that we’ve never seen in any of the previous trailers. One notable thing that stands out is when Jyn’s mother (at least we think its her mother) gives young Jyn a mysterious crystal. The trailer then shows a present day Jyn still holding on to that crystal. Now there is speculation that Jyn is in possession of a Kyber Crystal.

Another important thing to note is that there is a whole lot more Darth Vader. Well, more like more teases. But who doesn’t want more Darth Vader?
