It’s been a while since we’ve reported anything on Fast 8, which now officially goes by The Fast Of The Furious. The eighth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise shows no signs of slowing down, even with the loss of the late Paul Walker. The franchise that has since become a global phenomenon, now with a brand new title to boot, and has announced that the first trailer for the sequel will hit the internet this Sunday.
Check out the tease here below.
Teases for trailers aren’t out of the ordinary, in fact, it’s becoming more commonplace. For Fate of the Furious we see that Dom (Vin Diesel) and his crew still like to visit their exotic locations. But since the U.S. has lifted the embargo on Cuba, director F. Gary Gray shot the film there. It’s one of the first major blockbusters to shoot since U.S. and Cuba relations thawed. Speaking of thawed, the film will also see Dom and his crew take their racing and heist skills to the frozen tundras of Iceland.
There really isn’t much else to say about this teaser, other than there was a quick shot of Charlize Theron, with a full set of hair this time. But her character will tempt Dom to return to a world of crime, a world that Dom vowed to leave behind.
As for the trailer release, fans can check into Facebook on Sunday, December 11, for the LIVE trailer event starting at 4:40PM PT/7:40PM ET.
