Remember how Josh Gad tried to figure out what Star Wars: The Last Jedi meant by grilling Daisy Ridley for answers?
The two star together in Kenneth Branagh’s remake of Murder On The Orient Express, and it appears that Gad has continued to pester Ridley about the title while off the set. He wasn’t able to get an answer directly, but maybe if he sneaks the question in there he might get Ridley to slip up. Of course, we should all know how this video ends. But that doesn’t make the exchange any less entertaining. Check out the video below.
This is the second time in just as many weeks that Gad has tried to get an answer about the title out of Ridley. This time he took a more subtle approach. By rewriting the script to Murder on the Orient Express. Ridley catches on to what he is trying to do when some of the questions read: “Who are Rey’s parents?” and “Is Finn paralyzed from the waist down?” She then proceeds to walk out of his trailer.
We still know very little about Star Wars: The Last Jedi, other than the film takes place moments after the events of The Force Awakens. Ridley will return along with John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver. Mark Hamill also returns for an expanded role, and the late Carrie Fisher is also set to appear.
But a bigger question is, do you think this is the last we will see of Gad trying to pry an answer out of Ridley, or does he have something else up his sleeve?
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
