Today is a great day across the galaxy. Every year, May the 4th provides Star Wars fans with a chance to spread their love, and in recent years it’s gotten easier with Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story last December.
Fandango is using its “force” as the world’s biggest supplier of movie tickets to spread the Star Wars fandom through their streaming service FandangoNOW. FandangoNOW began in early 2016 after the company acquired the streaming site M-GO, and allows movie fans to watch over 50,000 films and TV shows on a pay-as-you-go basis without a subscription.
Today only, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be available for rental on FandangoNOW for only $4.00. Most films on the site cost between $4.99 – $6.99 to rent and all are available for purchase as well. Now you can rejoin Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) and K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), as they scramble to secure the Death Star plans from the Empire and get them to the rebel alliance. The film, directed by Gareth Edwards, which earned over $1 billion worldwide, was the first in the expanded Star Wars universe.
So instead of a typical boring Thursday, May the 4th be with you and enjoy Rogue One for a discounted rental price of only $4.00 only on FandangoNOW. Get it here.
