FANDOM Fest is in full force at New York Comic Con 2017! Geeks of Doom had an exclusive experience at the FANDOM Fantasy Food Truck, with delicious recipes to nosh inspired by Rick and Morty, The Walking Dead, Star Wars, and Stranger Things.
We got to try some Pickle Rick Soda from Rick and Morty that actually isn’t bad (think carbonated pickle juice), an absolutely scrumptious Lucille Bat Pretzel from The Walking Dead complete with caramel and Glenn’s eyeball, an Upside Down Waffle from Stranger Things, and an ADORABLE and delicious Porg in a Blanket cake pop from Star Wars.
Tickets for the FANDOM Fantasy Food Truck are FREE, but they go fast, so our insider tip is to show up to the FANDOM Booth early to schedule your appointment time! Our sources also told us that if you can’t get a ticket, there is sometimes extra food available at the end of the day.
Beyond the food truck, FANDOM Fest also includes talent panels at the NYCC Live Stage, a FANDOM Factory with custom swag from fandoms like Wonder Woman, Game of Thrones, Super Mario Brothers and Star Wars, and a modern and ’80s Gamer Den, a “hot spot” inspired by HULU’s Future Man.
The FANDOM Fantasy Food Truck is located in Hall 3E, Booth #274 from October 5-8 10am-7pm Thursday-Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday. Spaces are limited!
