A new DC Universe is on the horizon. There is the DCEU for films. Then there is the Arrowverse for those who may like television. But for those who love to stream, the DC Universe is about to launch later this summer, and now we are getting our first look at what they have to offer in an all-new trailer. Check it out here below.
The 30-second trailer is the kind of thing if you blink you will miss it. Along with the original content, the service will also offer a large library of animated and live-action material. If you liked Batman Returns, they will have it. Love the Christopher Reeve Superman films, they have those too. Want to relive the original Batman The Animated Series, you can do that, and even more – going as far back as the classic Superman animated series. Not only that, but those who subscribe will also have access to a library of comics and can interact with other DC films.
The service will also offer a look at the classic Wonder Woman live-action show and some newer ones like Constantine.
But no service is complete without some original content. And the DC Universe will offer a lot. From Titans, Swamp Thing, Doom Patrol, and the animated Young Justice: Outsiders, there will also be Harley Quinn.
There will also be animated films ranging from Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis, and Batman vs. Robin. There is just so many, but you get the idea of what they have to offer.
Unfortunately, the service will launch first in the U.S., leaving everyone outside of the country out in the cold. At least for now. But I can’t wait to see what other features this service will have to offer. The service will launch later this August.
