At the beginning of the year, we found out that Hulu was developing a monthly horror anthology series. Then in May we learned that the show would be titled Into the Dark, and that each episode would be holiday themed beginning with Halloween in October.
Now Hulu has released the first trailer for the show. It’s only a teaser, and an extremely short one at that, but still gives us our first look at Into the Dark. You can check it out below.
The first episode, the Halloween episode, will be titled “The Body.” It stars Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, Aurora Perrineau, David Hull, and Ray Santiago.
Here’s a description of it:
“The Body” follows a sophisticated, overconfident hitman who always carries out his work in style. He decides to take things even further one day by transporting his latest victim in plain sight, correctly assuming that self-absorbed LA partiers will simply be enamored with his elaborate “costume.” Eventually, as his window of opportunity to dispose of the body begins to close, Wilkes’ true colors reveal themselves to some groupies that have latched on to him. It becomes a battle of will and wits.
The second Thanksgiving-themed episode will be titled “Flesh & Blood,” and stars Dermot Mulroney as a man trying to help his agoraphobic teenage daughter, who hasn’t left the house since the unsolved murder of her mother.
Into the Dark kicks off with “The Body” on October 5th. “Flesh & Bone will then follow on November 2nd
