Well, it looks like the comic companies out there don’t want you buying gifts for anyone else because they have dropped a metric crap-ton of must-buy issues and collections this week. Now, you could choose to hold off on buying these or maybe give them to others during this holiday season, but we all know you’re going to buy these now and buy them for yourself. It’s another busy week of books. In addition to the books I’m going to go into a bit more below, we’ve got new issues of Saga, Revival, Morning Glories, Pretty Deadly from Image, the last issue of Geoff Johns’ Aquaman run from DC, the last issue of Infinity from Marvel, and a special edition of Sandman: Overture #1. So, before getting your feast on, remember to be thankful for your friendly neighborhood comics retailer and pick up a ton of comics. That’s the meaning of the season here on The GoD List!

If you live in the Chicago area, there is a very cool event going on starting on November 29th, 2013. For the fourth year, the Raven Theater in Chicago is presenting A Klingon Christmas Carol, a version of Charles Dickens’ Christmas classic A Christmas Carol in the Original Klingon with English subtitles.

The play is a co-production of Commedia Beauregard and the IKV Spirit of Honor of the Klingon Assault Group, and runs through the month of December. Tickets can by bought here.
