| The GoD List: Comics For December 11, 2013 |
|
Each and every week, I, “Dasher” Henchman 21, and “Dancer” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the weeks of December 4, 2013 and December 11, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Well, it looks like the comic companies out there don’t want you buying gifts for anyone else because they have dropped a metric crap-ton of must-buy issues and collections this week. Now, you could choose to hold off on buying these or maybe give them to others during this holiday season, but we all know you’re going to buy these now and buy them for yourself. And you know what, I will make no judgments because I’m going to do the same thing myself, so who am I to cast stones? I’m Henchman 21, that’s who, and I can cast stones if I want, but I won’t. Because I love you, my dear readers. And because I love you so much, we’re going to add in some picks from last week as well now that we’re over our Thanksgiving coma. So, join us as we spread some holiday cheer with a gingerbread-spiced The GoD List!

| The GoD List: Comics For October 9, 2013 |

Each and every week, I, “Ready for NYCC?” Henchman21, and “Hell yeah!” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of October 9, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. Yup, it’s another week before a big convention which means tons of great books dropping this week, especially when it comes to collections, with new volumes of Thor, the first collection of Greg Rucka’s Lazarus, new work from Paul Pope with Battling Boy, and the Thanos Rising collection, just to name a few. However, the winner of this week’s single issues is Image Comics, which is why so many of the books on this week’s list come from them, and I didn’t even write about all the ones I could have, with Rocket Girl #1 featuring art by Amy Reeder being another can’t-miss. And that’s not even mentioning all the other amazing books out. So, don’t skip your trip to your friendly neighborhood comic store this week, and if you still need books to buy, look no further than The GoD List!

Each and every week, I, “It’s Playoff Time, Baby!” Henchman21, and “I Don’t Care” Empress Eve read a lot of comics. Seriously you guys, a lot of comics. Maybe too many comics. I mean, it is possible”¦ theoretically. Naturally, we look forward to some more than others. I mean, who doesn’t? So, let’s take a look into the depths of our pull lists, grab some comics, and we’ll let YOU know what the top books to look forward to are for the week of May 1, 2013. Single issues and trades, they’re all here. It’s Free Comic Book Day this week, so you may be planning to hold off on picking up your new books till Saturday, but I’m here to tell you right now that is a mistake, because there is too much good stuff to pass up. You can get your free books on Saturday, and you can pick up a metric ton of cheap books on Wednesday. That, and you can pick up an exciting new series, and the next issue in one of the hottest series out there. So you’ve got that, and so much more. Oh, and I guess there’s a little movie coming out this week you may be excited to see. And just like FCBD, The GoD List is always free, free, free!
