The long-awaited Amazon Prime Video original series, Good Omens, has finally been released for our viewing pleasure. Having covered New York Comic-Con and SXSW panels on the show –– based on the Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch –– as well as interviewing the cast and creators, the Geeks of Doom have been READY to see David Tennant (Crowley), Michael Sheen (Aziraphale), and their outstanding castmates in all their glory. Gaiman servers as writer and showrunner on the series, which takes a bizarre and delightful poke at religious tropes.

NYCC 2018: Fraser’s Ridge ‘Outlander’ Cabin Experience

Just like walking through the stones, fans went back in time by stepping into the Fraser’s Ridge Outlander cabin outside the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in NYC at New York Comic-Con 2018. STARZ brought to life historic details from colonial America by working with local artisans and brands to create an authentic three-sided version of Jamie and Claire Fraser’s cabin from the upcoming season of Outlander (and also as described in Diana Gabaldon‘s novel, Drums of Autumn).

NYCC 2018: Audible’s ‘Harry Potter’ Pensieve Experience

Audible presented an immersive experience for the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter at this year’s New York Comic-Con. The entire Harry Potter Pensieve Experience is narrated by the incredibly talented Jim Dale, and begins before even entering the enclosed NYCC booth. While waiting in line, the voice of Dumbledore can be heard explaining the Pensieve to Harry. Just before entering, fans choose a vial based on one of six characters – Harry, Hermione, Ron, Dumbledore, Snape, or Voldemort – to be placed into the Pensieve inside. Once a character’s vial is chosen, it’s time to begin the experience.
