| Preview Issue #1 Of ‘Harley Quinn’ From Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti
This week marks the release of Harley Quinn #1, an ongoing series featuring the titular star from DC Comics as part of The New 52. While Harley is currently part of two team books already – Suicide Squad and Injustice: Gods Among Us – her solo book will focus on her new life as a resident of New York City and the day-to-day escapades she finds herself in. The series is being written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner (Conner will also provide the cover art) and features art by newcomer Chad Hardin. In an interview with USA Today, Conner noted that “even though it’s still fairly early, it is beginning to look like Looney Tunes meets a Quentin Tarantino movie” which sounds quite promising for those who are a fan of Ms. Quinzel. Check out a preview here below of Harley Quinn #1.

| ’22 Jump Street’ Red Band Trailer Arrives; Offers Just As Much Fun As The Original
When the 21 Jump Street reboot / relaunch / remake I don’t think anyone expected to enjoy it as much as they did, but thanks to some incredibly witty writing (including some very meta commentary on remaking movies) and some great performances the movie found a very receptive audience. Now, the upcoming sequel 22 Jump Street has a new trailer out which promises more of the same laughs as Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill reprise their undercover cop roles, this time in college, and more commentary on movie sequels in general and even the first film courtesy of Nick Offerman’s opening lines. Check out the NSFW red band trailer for 22 Jump Street below, which opens in theaters June 13th, 2014.

| Christopher Lee Brings Heavy Metal To Christmas With “Jingle Hellâ€
Christopher Lee is back with another Yule tide release, A Heavy Metal Christmas Too, which takes the classic “Jingle Bells” and gives it a heavy metal face lift with some excellent choppy riffs and all new lyrics, giving it the new moniker “Jingle Hell.” It is, as with basically anything that Lee puts effort into, amazing. The single also includes a heavy metal rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” which is equally brilliant. Lee, at 91, is making a very good case that there is none more metal than him with this second release that hopefully will become a tradition for years to come. You can hear Lee discuss “Jingle Hell” below, as well as some samples from both songs.
