The magic of Frozen, the animated phenomenon that took the world by blizzard, will be back in an all new animated short film that can be seen before all showings of Pixar’s Coco. In the short, titled Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, the holiday season gets underway in the kingdom of Arendelle, Elsa reveals to Anna that there has never been a holiday tradition since their parents’ death. However, hope is at hand when Olaf and Sven decide to go on an epic adventure and find the perfect tradition for the two sisters before the big day arrives. We were fortunate enough to sit down with directors Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers, as well as producer Roy Conli and, of course, the voice of Olaf himself Josh Gad to talk a little bit about Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, its themes, and what they hope audiences pull from their experience watching it. | New Trailer For ‘Wallace & Gromit’ Creators’ ‘Early Man’ Released
Lionsgate Movies has released a new trailer for Early Man, the latest claymation feature from four-time Oscar winner Nick Park (Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit) and Aardman Animations. Lending their voices to the cast of the movie is Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything), Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter). | Trailer For Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Trollhunters’ Season 2; Begins ‘Tales Of Arcadia’ Trilogy
Netflix has released a trailer for season two of the animated series Trollhunters, which is presented by Pan’s Labyrinth and The Shape of Water director Guillermo del Toro and DreamWorks Animation. But it’s not your basic TV show second season. Things are getting shaken up in the Trollhunters universe. It’s been announced that the new season will actually be the start of a new trilogy titled Tales of Arcadia. The trilogy will continue with 3 Below, which introduces aliens as two teenagers from another planet end up here on Earth and must try to blend in as they figure out how to repair their ship. Disney and Pixar have released the final spirited trailer for Coco, Lee Unkrich and Adrian Molina‘s computer animated film based on Dia De Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead when translated into English. The film is a celebration of the Mexican holiday which remembers those who have passed on to the afterlife. Now with this final trailer, we are getting a better look at how Pixar’s latest honors diversity and culture. Check out the latest trailer below.
