| NYCC 2016: Kids HQ – StorySmash & Creative One Comics
Sunday was officially Family Day at New York Comic-Con this year (as it is every year), also known in our house as “Take Your Kid To Work Day.” My 12-year old wanted to shop and go to the VR and video game stations. My little one, however, looked forward to dressing up and doing fun things at the workshops. We chose StorySmash for her, and then she insisted on the cartooning workshop (facilitated by the artists and writers of Creative One Comics), ignoring the pull of Legos and her favorite cousin. | Benedict Cumberbatch Sings “Comfortably Numb” With Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour (Video)
During a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London earlier this week, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour surprised fans with a special guest: Benedict Cumberbatch, star of Sherlock, The Imitation Game, and the upcoming Marvel title Doctor Strange. But Cumberbatch wasn’t just there to hang out and enjoy the show. He was there to sing. After Gilmour began playing “Comfortably Numb,” the actor took the center stage spotlight to sing Roger Waters’ parts of the song. You can see a video of Cumberbatch singing with Gilmour here below.

One of the best YouTube channels out there, Every Frame A Painting, is back with a brand new video. It’s been a few months since the last video uploaded by the channel, and only a handful have arrived in the past year. But the waits are worth it. Another reason it’s so good: there’s no dumping daily videos to milk views. When inspired to make a new video, a new video is made. The latest video, titled “The Marvel Symphonic Universe,” focuses on movie music. More specifically, why Marvel movies, as massive as they are, really don’t have memorable music that people instantly recognize. You can watch the video along with a second bonus video below.
