This year’s main event when it came to New York Comic-Con was definitely the much-awaited panel focusing on the upcoming Marvel release, The Avengers. Be it the fact that a brand new trailer had hit only days prior, or the fact that, you know, it’s the damn Avengers, this was the one panel the entire film world had been waiting for.
On the panel were Cobie Smulders, Clark Gregg, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Kevin Feige, and those in attendance got some great looks at some really intriguing footage, which you can read about here below. (You can see the photos from the panel here below too.)

Undeniably, the panel for Marvel’s The Avengers was the most highly anticipated event at this year’s New York Comic-Con. It was the final panel of the day on Saturday at the Con’s IGN Theater, and while it began around 7pm, the line of people waiting to get in hours before snaked around the entire area, leaving a lot of fans who didn’t get in quite disappointed. Thankfully, a bunch of us here at GoD did get in, so we’ll soon be bringing you some video, photos, and lots of information from the panel, including a description of the all-new footage shown. But for now, check out the short video clip we took here below of the cast members on the panel saying, “Avengers Assemble!”

Most everyone in the geek world knows that New York Comic-Con is going on this weekend and it just so happens that one of my favorite comic book companies, Evil Ink!, is here to sell merch and sling comics! Luckily, I got a chance to catch up with Claudio Sanchez (of Coheed and Cambria) and Chondra Echert on their upcoming book Key of Z on the convention floor at Booth 1345 about the new comic, what they’re looking forward to seeing at the convention, and what they’ve got coming up. You can watch my video interview here below. Now, the audio quality on the video is a little off, so before you take to the comments section to tell me that I should have been looking at the camera or using a mic, I totally agree with you. My bad, it will never happen again. So, to save you the ear strain, I wanted to tell you about some of the high points from the interview, and they are listed here below.

Unfortunately, I missed the Batman: Arkham City due to quite a few complications, but luckily my favorite editors/site owners in the world, Empress Eve and Dave3, were there and provided me with some notes and an awesome video of some recorded live gameplay footage! You can watch 7 1/2 minutes of the gameplay footage demo’d at the panel right here below. (Yes, they played the game right at the panel; it’s not a pre-recorded demo, it’s all new!)
