| DIY: Hellraiser Rubik’s Cube Puzzle Box
If you’re familiar with the Hellraiser movies, you might be interested in getting one of your very own Puzzle Boxes (formally known as the Lemarchand’s box). There are currently several being offered online, including this Hellraiser Rubik’s Cube variety; there’s also a bunch offered on Amazon. I grew up on the Hellraiser movies, so I have been and always will be scared as hell of having one of these near me – I wouldn’t want to inadvertently summon Pinhead and the Cenobites and get ripped to shreds by chained hooks, thanks (although I am tempted to get this adorable Puzzle Box Pull Chain – but you see, that’s how it starts, with temptation!).

Jason Babler, one of the art directors for Diablo 3: The Book Of Cain has taken his passion and hobby and combined them, making his own custom sculpture of Azmodan from the Diablo III universe. His sculpture is just breathtaking. The sculpture stands at an impressive 17 inches tall and the base for the ‘Lord of Sin’ is 2 feet across. The detail on this piece is absurd – from the multiple texture types to the in-depth coloring and shading of Azmodan himself. Even his his mouth, eyes and magical orb all light up courtesy of miniature LEDs. Check out the full image after the jump.

I’m always on the lookout for new recipes to try and I came across one recently that ties into one of my favorite new comics, Skullkickers. The Skullkickers crew proudly gives us the recipe for Skullkickers Stew & Dungeon Dumplings. Check it out here. It sounds like a thick and hearty recipe, with plenty of meat and veggies. And even if you don’t feel like partaking of this particular dish, reading the recipe is funny enough on its own, and is also a good indication of what the series is all about. If you haven’t read Skullkickers yet, I recommend it. It’s a funny take on the fantasy genre featuring two mercenaries, a human and a dwarf, and all the misadventures that they get into. The series features hilarious dialog from Jim Zub and some great art from Edwin Huang. The art and color on the series make the series feel like an animated TV series. Skullkickers #13 came out last month and is a great jumping-on point as the boys take to the high seas. The issue’s recap page will give you all the information you need, although you’ll want to read the whole series at some point because it’s just too much fun.

| Behold The R2-D2 Turntable
So, I just told you about today being Record Store Day, where a bunch of special vinyl releases are available throughout the world at local record shops. But in order to actually PLAY a vinyl record, you need a record player – or a turntable. And wouldn’t it be awesome to have a Star Wars-themed turntable to play all your KISS Destroyer records on? (OK, I need it for all my old KISS albums; maybe you need it for your new limited-edition 7″ Coldplay record.) Anyhow, check to the image above of an R2-D2 Turntable, which is totally awesome.
