Two very different entertainment universes are colliding in a cross-promotion between director Ridley Scott’s latest entry in the Alien franchise, Alien: Covenant, and the hit Adult Swim animated comedy Rick and Morty.

In the short video, Rick and Morty are on one of their adventures when they receive a distress beacon. While investigating, they encounter a dreaded facehugger. Thankfully they—or at least Rick—is unknowingly prepared for this, discovering one way to survive such an attack.

One actor who does not have trouble finding work these days is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. At this very moment, he has 13 different projects in various stages of current status ranging from announced to pre-production to filming to post-production, and finally, completed (his latest movie, Baywatch). With this many projects, it’s safe to assume he’s showered with offers, and a large amount of those offers are not for the most appealing roles.

GQ Magazine, who has Johnson on the cover of their 2017 Comedy Issue, has released a video in which Johnson imagines himself playing some odd roles in sequels to hit movies such as Goodfellas, Home Alone, Napoleon Dynamite, and even a remake of The Revenant.

Last month we saw the announcement of another Force for Change collaboration between Star Wars and Omaze in which fans would have the chance to win the ultimate Star Wars experience while also supporting a great cause.

Now, just in time for May the 4th, a bonus prize for that contest has been revealed: the chance to have lunch with Mark Hamill in LA and see The Last Jedi before it opens to the public in a special pre-screening.

To help promote the contest and announce the bonus prize, Hamill recently shocked a handful of unsuspecting superfans when he showed up as their surprise co-star while re-creating iconic scenes from the movies. You can see their reactions in the video below, followed by all the details.

This week, the gang at Screen Junkies give La La Land the Honest Trailers treatment, days removed from the hit film’s release on Blu-ray. If you were living under a rock in 2016 and early 2017, La La Land was THE movie; a throwback Hollywood musical, about Hollywood starring two young gorgeous stars, filled with tremendous original songs. It was to movie musicals what Hamilton was to Broadway. The film racked up a ridiculous amount of accolades, including winning 6 of 14 Oscars it was nominated for. Of course, many only remember La La Land for the Oscar it didn’t win; the controversial and embarrassing ending to the Academy Awards when their celebration for Best Picture was interrupted by the realization that they actually LOST to Moonlight. We’re nearing a year and a half now since Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released. The first spinoff movie, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has since come and gone, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi is on the way later this year.

But that doesn’t mean the internet is going to stop coming up with little gems to entertain us. A meme has made its way around the ‘net in which the man, the myth, the legend himself, Tommy Wiseau, drops his “Oh, hai Mark” line from his infamous anti-classic The Room on Mark Hamill in The Force Awakens.

Now someone has taken that meme a step further, by taking the clip of Wiseau out of The Room and superimposing him into the final scene of The Force Awakens. The result is, of course, perfect. You can check out the video below.
