| ‘IT Chapter Two’: The Losers Club Returns To Derry To Face Their Fears In “Coming Home” Featurette
IT Chapter Two, the sequel to 2017’s IT Chapter One, hits theaters next month and is the conclusion of the big-screen horror adaptation of the best-selling Stephen King novel It. Chapter One introduced audiences to “The Losers Club,” a group of young friends in Derry, Maine, who come up against the evil clown-faced Pennywise. Chapter Two picks up 27 years later and sees the return of the Losers as adults to their New England hometown to once against face their deadly foe. Warner Bros. has released a 3-minute featurette for Chapter Two called “Coming Home,” where author Stephen King, directorAndy Muschietti, and the adult cast members talk about the upcoming sequel and what it means for the friends to come home under these terrible circumstances. When Marvel releases one of their installments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s fun to take a look at what nods the filmmakers have made to the comic book source material. On the most recent episode of the This Week In Marvel podcast, host Ryan Penagos, aka Agent M, talked with Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame Visual Effects Supervisor Dan DeLeeuw about some of the comic book Easter eggs found in the latest film. | Kevin Smith Reveals Matt Damon’s Role In ‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot’
The big news after this month’s release of the first trailer for Kevin Smith‘s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot was that A-lister Ben Affleck would return to the writer/director’s View Askewniverse. Smith later posted to his social media accounts how he and Affleck, after years of estrangement, had finally reunited. The first trailer contains plenty of celebrity cameos, including one from Affleck, but it also showed that fellow A-lister and Affleck’s original bestie and frequent co-star Matt Damon would also be back in the fold! Today, Smith posted to his social media accounts about Damon’s role in the new movie.

While the holiday is celebrated in mid Fall, the summer has been hot with Halloween movie news. We learned earlier this month that “The saga of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode will continue” with two sequels to David Gordon Green’s hugely successful 2018 Halloween. Halloween Kills is set to hit theaters in 2020 and be followed by 2021’s Halloween Ends. Jamie Lee Curtis is set to return as Laurie Strode in both films. Now rumors are circulating that another character from John Carpenter’s original 1978 classic could be returning to the series: Tommy Doyle.

| Kevin Smith Shares Story Of How He Reunited With Ben Affleck For ‘Jay and Silent Bob Reboot’ After Not Speaking For Years
There are a bunch of actors who have made multiple appearances in Kevin Smith‘s View Askewniverse over the past 25 years. Ben Affleck is one such actor, first appearing in Mallrats in 1995—one of his earlier film roles. He quickly re-teamed with Smith two years later for Chasing Amy, and has since appeared in four more Smith titles including Dogma and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. What fans might not know is that Smith and Affleck had a falling out a while ago, sometime after Affleck’s appearance in Clerks II back in 2006, and the two hadn’t spoken in years. But with Jay and Silent Bob Reboot now on the way, Smith was thankfully able to reunite with Affleck for the project. He shared the story of how this reunion came to be recently, and you can read it below.
