It’s the time of the season, and what better way to celebrate that time than to have images promoting a Christmas movie. Of course, there are many remakes and reboots of classic Christmas movies. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that Disney has released the first images for a new vision of The Nutcracker. Disney’s take will be called The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Directed by Lasse Hallström, the film will be based on an adaptation of E.T.A. Hoffmann’s 1816 German fairy tale, which was turned into a ballet by Tchaikovsky. Now we are getting a first look at the film, which is due to hit theaters late next year. Check out the first two images here below.

It’s still very surprising that it has taken us this long to get The Incredibles 2. With Pixar already releasing sequels and prequels to many of their titles, a sequel to The Incredibles is long overdue. But now we are getting one. And the recent teases that have appeared at D23 and the official teaser that dropped during Coco, hints at the Parr family adjusting to their new lives while also trying to figure out how to raise Jack-Jack, whose powers aren’t fully formed. Now we are getting a better sense of what that family life is like for the Parrs in a brand new image that shows them in full costume — all of them, including Jack-Jack. Check out the new image here below.

One of the biggest problems for Justice League was introducing three new heroes to the DC superhero universe. This did not give much room for any narrative or exposition as the ensemble film had to squeeze out time to give some origin stories to The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg. However, all will be getting standalone origin stories of their own. At least we hope. But one that is for certain is Aquaman. The film will see Jason Momoa reprise his role as Arthur Curry, the half-man half-Atlantean who is trying to figure out his place on land and in the ocean. Now we have our first look at the upcoming superhero film, which is being directed by James Wan (The Conjuring). Check out the first look here below.

And this time, we will get it right. Or at least we can hope that Simon Kinberg gets it right as he makes his directorial debut with X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which as you could have guessed, will be a loose adaptation of the “Dark Phoenix Saga” comics storyline written by Chris Claremont. Though, this wouldn’t be the first time that the X-Men franchise has attempted Dark Phoenix in a film. In 2006, X-Men: The Last Stand tried to use a resurrected Jean Grey (then played by Famke Janssen) as the Dark Phoenix who was being manipulated by Magneto (then played by Ian McKellen). Now with the film franchise’s timeline being rebooted, we can look forward to some wrongs being righted. We are getting our first look at Dark Phoenix, which includes our very first peek at Jessica Chastain‘s villainous character. Check them out below.
