Last month, Disney bought Fox after weeks of rumors. They also announced a few months prior to tha that they would not be extending their deal with Netflix, and would instead launch their own streaming service. But that was 2017. This is 2018. And guess what, there could be another deal that could affect the way you watch your shows. Don’t worry, Disney isn’t making another major acquisition. At least not yet. No, reports are saying that Apple is expressing interest in making a deal to buy Netflix. More on the story below.

The fallout of the sexual harassment allegations continues. As more and more of the Hollywood elite continue to be outed, projects have either hit a standstill or are moving on without the accused. Some people are even being replaced. The fallout is now making its way to production companies. Case in point, Wonder Woman‘s Gal Gadot is reportedly holding out on signing on to return for a sequel unless the production company led by Brett Ratner won’t be involved in the film.

| Rumor: Wonder Woman Could Appear In ‘Flashpoint’ |

When Warner Bros. announced a Flashpoint film as a part of their DCEU slate, it meant that their comic book movie universe could be in for a change. In the comics, Flashpoint is the result of Flash going back in time to rescue his mother only to find out that time has changed in the present. Meaning that he didn’t have his powers, Thomas Wayne became the Batman as the result of his son dying, and the entire world is at war with Themyscira and Atlantis. Now there’s a rumor that Wonder Woman could be appearing in the Flashpoint movie. Find out more on this story below.

| Ben Affleck’s Rumored Wish To No Longer Play Batman May Come True
There comes a point in time where we have to ask ourselves if there’s going to be any good news about Ben Affleck and The Batman. Since Affleck joined the DCEU, he’s been in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, both were marred by negative reviews for a variety of reasons. Then there was the pressure to direct a great Batman film, which he took himself out of. So while Matt Reeves taking the helm may be a sigh of relief, there’s still the rumor of Affleck wanting out of his obligation to star as the Caped Crusader as well. | Rumor: WB Circling Robert Zemeckis To Direct ‘The Flash’ Movie
Warner Bros.’ big-screen adaptation of The Flash has seen better days. The standalone feature for the Scarlet Speedester lost two directors over creative differences in one year alone, and will undoubtedly miss its March 16, 2018, release date. Still, the studio firmly believes that the film deserves a theatrical debut. Now that may be happening, as WB is reportedly setting their sights on Back To The Future director Robert Zemeckis to helm the film. More on the story below.
