| Are ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ and ‘Justice League’ Being Filmed Back-To-Back? |

Recently Dwayne Johnson met with executives at Warner Brothers about his potential involvement in a top secret DC Comics movie project that may go into production some time this year. According to an unnamed source for Latino Review that film could very well be the studio’s eternally gestating Justice League, which was originally supposed to be filming for a summer 2015 release before the lack of a decent script compelled the studio to shut down development and shift their resources over to a Man of Steel sequel that would have Superman (Henry Cavill) going head-to-head with Warners’ other big DC moneymaker Batman (Ben Affleck). The word is now going around Hollywood that both the doubly eponymous Batman vs. Superman (name subject to change) and Justice League will be filmed back-to-back and be released within a year of each other. Supposedly this is because the studio wants to capitalize as much as possible on the filming time they have with the busy Affleck, Cavill, and Johnson.

| Quentin Tarantino’s New Western Titled ‘The Hateful Eight’? |
By BAADASSSSS!

Monday, January 13th, 2014 at 11:30 am |

Who else but Quentin Tarantino could make both a two-and-a-half hour World War II adventure with minimal action and voluminous dialogue and an ultraviolent epic barn burner of a western in the past four years and reap amazing reviews and blockbuster grosses? The man’s one of the most reliable filmmakers in the world and his detractors are vastly outnumbered by his admirers. It looks like he who is referred to as Q.T. by his friends and soulless sycophants has another movie in the works. Lo and behold – Tarantino might be heading back out West. Rumors are tearing their way through the industry like an undercooked Royale with Cheese through your digestive system that Tarantino has written the script for his latest feature and is in the process of sending it out to actors he hopes to cast. He announced that he was working on another western during a November appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The title of the screenplay is said to be The Hateful Eight; though that could be a temporary title, with Tarantino it is unlikely to change once it’s typed out and printed on the cover.

| ‘Masters Of The Universe’: Rian Johnson, Joe Cornish On Rumored Shortlist To Direct |

Sony Pictures’ long-in-development live-action reboot of Masters of the Universe recently lost its latest director when Jon M. Chu (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), who had signed on to the project in the summer of 2012, departed to make the next G.I. Joe sequel. Back in October Pirates of the Caribbean and The Mask of Zorro co-writer Terry Rossio was hired to pen a new draft after a previous effort by Alex Litvak (Predators) and Mike Finch didn’t pass muster with the studio. This reboot is apparently of great importance to the franchise-famished Sony because they have put together a list of potential directors to take over for Chu, and if this list is genuine, then Masters of the Universe could turn out to be pretty damn great after all.

| Could A Boba Fett Standalone ‘Star Wars’ Movie Be Closer Than We Thought?
Almost immediately after Disney acquired the Star Wars franchise and announced that they would be making a new trilogy of films, there was also news of planned spin-off movies that would each center around one individual character from the Star Wars universe. Almost a year ago, we confirmed that there would indeed be Star Wars character movies, and we may be closer to hearing official news than we thought. One of the characters that was brought up immediately as a potential candidate for a movie was Boba Fett, and now thanks to an off-the-cuff remark by TV producer and director Jon Schnepp, that rumor is getting some major fuel.
