So yesterday you might have heard that Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Paul Rudd, and a possible third mystery man were in the running to be Hank Pym in Edgar Wright‘s Ant-Man. Depending on who you ask and how Wright wants to envision the multi-size hero, it could be either one of the two that are known. Now the shortlist has gotten even shorter as Gordon-Levitt has addressed these rumors and has officially taken himself out of the running. While on his international Don Jon press tour, AlloCine asked Gordon-Levitt about the possible Ant-Man casting. His answer is quite frank. Hit the jump to see what he said.

At this point we should just start throwing darts at names and just say the person is attached to Star Wars: Episode VII. Despite the many casting rumors so far, not one of them have panned out, but that also doesn’t mean they are completely false. Many actors are considered for roles before one is officially chosen. According to LatinoReview, the camp that’s reported most of the Star Wars rumors, Saoirse Ronan is the most recent name who has reportedly read for a role in the J.J. Abrams-directed film. The site is also reporting that one of the previously rumored names to be attached to Episode VII, has reemerged, despite repeated denials. More on that later.

So many Star Wars: Episode VII casting rumors, so little time. Just last week we learned that Rachel Hurd-Wood and Alex Pettyfer were approached to star in the J.J. Abrams-directed film. Before that, Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling were in talks, the latter of whom decided not to sign on because he doesn’t do sequels. Plenty of rumors have come and gone, but this latest one is sure to get Star Wars fans and geeks alike talking. Film Chronicles [via Bleeding Cool] reports that Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch is in talks to star in Star Wars: Episode VII.

The Star Wars: Episode VII casting process is secretive in many ways. For one thing, revealing the roles has the potential to be a huge spoiler. Recently we have been given a slight idea of who may be in the film with the recent reports saying that Emperor Palpatine and Obi-Wan Kenobi would return as force ghosts have surfaced. Now a new report has pegged two actors auditioning for the role of the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Episode VII. According to LatinoReview, Rachel Hurd-Wood (Peter Pan) is in talks to play Princess Leia’s daughter, while Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike) is up for a unknown role.

Marvel Comics tells us that Ultron was created by Hank Pym aka Ant-Man, but the Marvel Cinematic Universe will tell us a different story. With the Edgar Wright-directed Ant-Man film scheduled to open in theaters in November 2015, six months after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the cybernetic threat’s origins will have to be explained. It’s being speculated that Tony Stark will be behind Ultron’s creation, which makes a lot of sense. So far this has been unconfirmed, but what if Ultron was already there, staring us in the face? Now this is purely a rumor – a very big rumor at that – but Unleash The Fan Boy is reporting that J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany), Tony Stark’s AI for the Iron Man armors, will portray Ultron in the highly anticipated Avengers sequel.
