| Mike Flanagan Netflix Series ‘The Haunting Of Hill House’ Adds Three To Cast
Three new actors have joined the cast of The Haunting of Hill House, the upcoming Netflix series based on Shirley Jackson‘s 1959 novel of the same name. The series comes from Oculus, Hush, Absentia, and Ouija: Origin of Evil director Mike Flanagan, Steven Spielberg‘s Amblin TV, and Paramount Television. Boarding the project is Henry Thomas, Elizabeth Reaser, and Kate Siegel. They join the previously cast Carla Gugino (Sin City, San Andreas) and Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones, Treme).

| Casey Affleck Trolls The Internet, Says Ben Affleck Won’t Be Batman After ‘Justice League’ |

Tell me if you haven’t heard this one before. Ben Affleck says he is dissatisfied with being the Batman in the DCEU and then backtracks on those comments. Then rumors of Affleck’s unhappiness appear once more only for him to “squash” them at SDCC. This story has been reported on so many times it’s really hard to keep up. So, let’s just mark this as the third time that we’ve been hearing Affleck wants out. However, it’s not Ben who is saying it, but his brother, Casey Affleck. Get more on this story below.

| Ben Affleck Says We’ll See A Different Kind Of Batman In ‘Justice League’ |

When we first saw Ben Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he was anything but happy. The Dark Knight was a pessimistic curmudgeon who believed that Superman presented a danger to the world. However, Supes’ sacrifice made him change his ways. And we’ve seen a little bit of that change in some of the trailers for Justice League. He certainly had a fun time recruiting Barry Allen (Ezra Miller). But I can’t say the same for Aquaman (Jason Momoa). But these changes in tone signify that the DCEU is walking away from the dark tones the franchise has started off with. Wonder Woman was a nice way to start off, and bringing in Joss Whedon to direct Justice League will help tone down the darkness. Now Affleck says audiences will see a different kind of Batman in Justice League. According to him, it will be a “more traditional Batman.” More on the story below.
