Joi Harris, a stuntwoman, tragically lost her life while on the set of Deadpool 2. Harris died while performing a stunt on the set of Deadpool 2. Authorities have not identified the woman yet.

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt has launched a new scifi/fantasy imprint called John Joseph Adams, and they’ve kicked things off right with Bannerless, the first book in Carrie Vaughn‘s futuristic dystopian saga.

Who is Bruce Campbell? Seriously, this was a question I had to answer for my mother! Bruce Campbell is the King of the B-Actors, a true modern renaissance man. His IMDb page lists over a hundred credits. He’s a producer and director, as well as the author of a New York Times bestseller. But to fans around the world, the answer to the above question is simple: he’s Ash Williams, the chainsaw-handed lothario from the Evil Dead franchise. He’s also my favorite actor, someone I proudly waited 4 hours to meet at a horror convention, and whom I got to interview last year while on vacation with my family inside of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando. That interview occurred over the phone in the quietest place I could find in a theme park known for loud attractions. A year later, lightning struck a second time. I was privileged to get to interview Mr. Bruce Campbell this month, and had time to discuss his upcoming book, as well as upcoming Season 3 of the Starz hit series Ash vs Evil Dead.

Jimmy Fallon made lip sync battling cool on The Tonight Show and soon it was spun off into its own series on Spike TV. Likewise, James Corden introduced the Carpool Karaoke segment to the world in The Late Late Show and now Carpool Karaoke is a new show with Billy Eichner on Apple Music. Movie reshoots are becoming less of a normal thing and more of something to be deeply concerned about. Oftentimes, studios would have reshoots set in place to work out some of the issues of the film. But now it looks like it’s casting more doubt than an assurance that the film will be good. Case in point, Justice League. The highly anticipated film made a huge splash recently when WB debuted the newest trailer at SDCC. However, it was then met with criticism for looking more like a video game than an actual film. Even worse, details about WB working on Zack and Deborah Snyder‘s exit from the DCEU were revealed. Then there were the reshoots that called for star Henry Cavill’s mustache to be digitally erased.
