‘Life Itself’ Trailer: ‘This Is Us’ Creator Dan Fogelman Brings His Tearjerking Storytelling To The Big Screen
Last night, everyone shed more than a few tears at the season finale of Dan Fogelman‘s This is Us. But Fogelman is much more than a showrunner. He’s also a filmmaker, and now he will bring us to tears once more in Life Itself.
Not to be confused with the Roger Ebert documentary of the same name, Life Itself is a multi-generational film that tells the story of how love and one shared event can connect us all. It stars Olivia Wilde, Oscar Isaac, Mandy Patinkin, Laia Costa, Annette Bening, and Antonio Banderas. Amazon Studios ha released a teaser trailer for the film, which you can find below.

Amazon Greenlights ‘Lore’ Season 2
Amazon has announced that they have officially ordered season two of Lore, the horror anthology series which premiered on Amazon Prime this past October.
The series is based on the Aaron Mahnke podcast of the same name, and presents various scary fables which have been told throughout history using a combination of live-action and animated segments paired with documentary footage.

Amazon Studios Gives ‘The Tick’ Season 2 The Greenlight
If you were a fan of Amazon Studios’ new take on The Tick, there’s some good news for you this week as the studio has officially ordered a season two of the series.
Creator Ben Edlund and cast members Peter Serafinowicz and Griffin Newman will all return for the new season. Production will begin sometime this year, and season two will arrive in 2019.

Trailer For Amazon Studios’ ‘Gringo’ Released
Amazon Studios has released a trailer for Gringo, an upcoming movie starring David Oyelowo (Selma, The Butler), Charlize Theron (Mad Max: Fury Road, Atomic Blonde), Joel Edgerton (Bright, Black Mass), Amanda Seyfried (Les Misérables, Mean Girls), Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), Hernán Mendoza (After Lucia, The Perfect Dictatorship), Thandie Newton (Westworld, Crash), Harry Treadaway (Honeymoon, The Lone Ranger), Alan Ruck (Ferris Beuller’s Day Off, Speed), and Kenneth Choi (The Wolf of Wall Street, Spider-Man: Homecoming). The film is directed by Joel’s brother Nash Edgerton (The Square), and written by Anthony Tambakis (Warrior, Jane Got A Gun) and Matthew Stone (Life, Intolerable Cruelty).

Ian McKellen Might Be Up For Playing Gandalf Again In Amazon’s ‘Lord Of The Rings’ Series
A little over a month ago it was confirmed that Amazon Studios was committed to making a multi-season TV series adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien‘s The Lord of the Rings.
We’re a long way from casting on that show to begin, but one familiar name sounds ready to sign on: none other than Ian McKellen. The actor has played Gandalf in director Peter Jackson’s two massive movie trilogies, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. When asked about Amazon’s show recently, it sounded like McKellen might just be up for reprising his role as the great wizard in the series…if he were asked to. See what he had to say below.
