Every year at Dragon*Con, The Guild panel always ends up being my favorite of the convention. This panel always bring tons of laughs and is suprisingly informative. This year’s panel featured the entire Knights of Good cast: Felicia Day, Sandeep Parikh, Jeff Lewis, Amy Okuda, Robin Thorsen, and Vincent Caso and it was hilarious. The cast has great chemistry and good-naturedly ribbed each other and the audience through the entire event. Felicia Day moderated and immediately opened it up to a fan Q&A. Felicia Day noted that The Guild: Season 6 just wrapped up shooting a day and a half ago and its release will come SOON. No specific release date or time-frame was specified. Also noteworthy was that Jeff Lewis’ baby makes a cameo appearance in the new season and he’s got another baby on the way. Congratulations from Geeks of Doom, Jeff!

| Dragon*Con 2011 Video: Ladies Of ‘The Guild’ Share Details On Upcoming EpisodesThe leading ladies from hit web series The Guild made their way to Atlanta this weekend to join in the geeky celebration that is Dragon*Con 2011. And fortunately for us, they even participated in some panels about the show. Amy Okuda (Tinkerballa), Robin Thorsen (Clara), and creator/star Felicia Day (Codex) spoke about their past experiences working on The Guild as well as what fans can expect from the next few episodes and future seasons of the show. If you didn’t already know (and if you’re reading this far into the article, you probably should), The Guild began its fifth season in late July. The most recent episode, Revolving Doors, aired on the show’s official website this week.

| Watch Now: Geeks Go Wild In New Music Video ‘Tonight I’m Frakking You’ |
|
A new video from Break.com is making it’s way around the web, and it’s…interesting, to say the very least. The video is a spoof on the Enrique Inglesias song “Tonight I’m Loving You” dubbed “Tonight I’m Frakking You,” which replaces all the rhythmic sex of an Inglesias video with about as much geek content as humanly possible. No lie, friends, this is an all-geek wildfire, featuring cosplay fun from comic book superheros, Star Wars, Super Mario Brothers, Ghostbusters, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, and more. You’ll even find a few familiar faces involved like Kunal Nayaar from Big Bang Theory, a brief cameo from BSG alum Richard Hatch, Amy Okuda from The Guild, and the absolute highest of high points of this video: Caprica star Alessandra Torresani as Princess Leia. Yes, that. You should go see. You can hug me later. Be sure to click on over to the other side now to check out the video for “Tonight I’m Frakking You.”

The Guild
Season 3 DVD
Directed Sean Becker
Starring Felicia Day, Jeff Lewis
Release date: May 25, 2010 Are you a gamer? Have you ever played an M.M.O.R.P.G.? Do you like comedy? If you said yes to any of these questions, then The Guild is a show for you. This is one of my favorite shows and every time the DVDs come out, I buy them right away. The Guild: Season 1 DVD was no exception as I was extremely excited for this season, as much if not more than I was the first two seasons. As with Kevin Smith movies, the special features make it worth the price alone. Basically, The Guild follows a group of World of Warcraft players, although it isn’t referred to as that specifically it is meant to be that game, who form a guild and through the guild discuss their issues. Most of the time they don’t realize that they are helping each other become less dysfunctional. All of them have a different personality and different social issues and they all need each other to call each other on their crap. This is the basics of the show as a whole.
