Release Date: July 1, 2015 “Hasta la vista…” Directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World), Terminator Genisys is the fifth film in the Terminator series. It’s also the franchise’s nadir — just in case you thought it couldn’t get any worse than Jonathan Mostow’s Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) or McG’s Terminator Salvation (2009). In the year 2029, John Connor (Jason Clarke) leads the human resistance against the machines. | James Cameron Puts His Seal Of Approval On ‘Terminator Genisys’
Oftentimes when you let go of your franchise creation, subsequent directors lose sight of what made the original films great. Terminator is a great example of that, with director James Cameron giving us two fantastic films, but Rise of the Machines and Salvation — from different directors — failed to live up to expectations. With Terminator Genisys just weeks away from release, Paramount will be making one final marketing push to get moviegoers interested in the upcoming installment. | ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer: We Take Back Our World
The Terminator franchise prided itself in having killer robots sent from the future attempting to kill the future leader of the resistance. Let’s not forget the interesting family dynamic. The fifth, Terminator Genysis, see Kyle Reese go back to the past once again, but Sarah Connor and the Terminator already anticipated his return. We’ve already seen one trailer and a Super Bowl TV spot, both of which didn’t give us any real context. However, a new trailer from the Alan Taylor-directed film gives more story and puts a twist in the Connor family dynamic as John is also sent back to the past, and he isn’t what he appears to be. Hit the jump to see the second trailer for Terminator Genysis.

| ‘Maggie’ Trailer: Arnold Schwarzenegger Will Do Anything To Protect His Zombie Daughter
We’ve seen zombies as the antagonist in action, horrors, and comedies. Sometimes it can be a combination of all three. But we’ve rarely seen the undead characters in an intimate family drama like Maggie. The film sees a father protecting his daughter, who has been bitten and is slowly turning. Set in a zombie-infected world, Arnold Schwarzenegger will play the father who protects his slowly turning daughter (Abigail Breslin) from law enforcement and the CDC. Lionsgate obtained the distribution rights for the film last year, and it will make its big screen debut at the Tribeca Film Festival later this year. Now we are getting our first look at the film. Hit the jump to check out the first trailer for Maggie.
