Dragon Age: Inquisition

Not too long ago we saw our first very brief, very early peek at gameplay for Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third installment in BioWare’s Dragon Age franchise. It was exciting, but also underwhelming as it did not show much, and what it did show was quick.

But as it turns out, a few weeks back at PAX Prime a rather lengthy gameplay demo for the game was shown off, and this fan somehow missed it and is very upset by that fact. The gameplay is pre-alpha and the video/audio quality itself is not the greatest, but if you’re dying to see the new Dragon Age in action this is a pretty darn good look.

You can check out the Inquisition demo below!

Dragon Age III: Inquisition Image

Finally! After a lengthy wait, the very first trailer for the much anticipated sequel to Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II has finally arrived.

BioWare officially announced Dragon Age III: Inquisition last September after a long period of rumors that the Mass Effect creators were hard at work on the game. Not much has been heard since then, not until now, when the first trailer was released.

As always, the first trailer is only cinematic; but it does include some familiar faces and a good peek at what we can expect to be dealing with in the game. Which is, of course: terrifying alien creature thingys raining down from the damn sky!

Check out the first trailer for Dragon Age III: Inquisition below now!

Mass Effect 3 Image

After the three-game Mass Effect trilogy came to an emotional end recently—part sadness at the closing of Commander Shepard’s storyline; part anger at the poorly executed ending (which was made much better by the release of an extended cut)—it seemed we’d be waiting a bit before any word of future titles in the franchise were spoken of. That said, we all knew that Mass Effect 4 would be arriving some day.

But while the game is still far off in the distance (next generation consoles, in the likeliest of scenarios), BioWare has already begun early development on the title, and they’re looking for feedback from we the players to help them decide where exactly they want to take the next game.

Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk Image

After the great news that Dragon Age III was officially on the way, a bit of surprising news is being reported.

Dr. Greg Zeschuk and Dr. Ray Muzyka, the pair who co-founded BioWare together back in 1995, have decided to step down from their position as heads of the company. It appears that both gentlemen have decided that it’s simply time to move on to the next chapter of their life, and it doesn’t look as though video games are a part of either of their plans.
