Air Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2016, 9:00pm Last week during the premiere of Outlander season 2, Claire (Caitriona Balfe) went back through the stones of Craig na Dun a few years later than she left – in 1948. Frank (Tobias Menzies) was thrilled to have her back, although that is dampened once she told him the whole crazy story, and that she is pregnant with Jamie’s child. He still wanted to be with her and raise the child as his own. The episode then transitioned to the Frasers arrival in France, and Claire mucking it up with her feminism, which Jamie (Sam Heughan) treasures. She declared a member of a ship’s crew dying of smallpox, which made a rich and angry Comte’s ship have to burn. He vowed revenge. Jamie’s cousin Jared (Robert Cavanah) left Jamie his house and business to run while he went away. The Frasers are planning to stop the Jacobite rebellion, thus stopping the massacre at Culloden. Spoilers below.

| Watch ‘Outlander’ Season 2 Official Trailer!
Pretty much 5 minutes after Starz announced the Outlander season 2 premiere date of April 9th, they released the official trailer to everyone. I know April 9th seems too far away to wait for our favorite time-crossed couple, the hunky James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser and his ethereal beautiful wife, Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser (Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe), but I know (as all Outlander fans do), that the season based on Dragonfly In Amber, Diana Galbadon’s second novel in the series is almost better than (if not as good as) the first. Check out the official trailer below.

| Check Out What’s In Store For ‘Outlander’ Season 2!
Starz released a 2-minute sneak peek of Outlander Season 2, set to return in April, and it’s a very different setting than what we are used to. Claire and Jaime Fraser (Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan) had set sail from Scotland, having escaped (with mental and physical scars), the horrors or prison and Black Jack Randall (Tobias Menzies). The Frasers are expecting a “bonny wee one” and things are looking up. Check out the video below (and the teaser released in December).
