The film adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber‘s famous Broadway musical is quite indescribable.
Now Universal has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming film, which will have more dancing and more feline antics. You can find the first trailer right here if you missed it. Check out the new trailer below.

Holiday Geek Gift Guide 2016: Cat Lovers

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and Black Friday left us — more or less — free from torrents of blood running red in our streets. As we move beyond the shopping hell that launched the holiday season, we can now focus on what it’s all about — giving people cool stuff. And while Christmas might have other meanings, that isn’t what this article is about. So without further ado, I’d like to list a couple of my personal suggestions to make the holidays substantially more holly jolly — especially if you have a cat… well, only if you have a cat, actually.
Here’s the 2016 Holiday Geek Gift Guide for Cat Lovers…

Men With Cats
Intimate Portraits of Feline Friendship
Hardcover | Kindle
Written by David Williams
Quirk Books
Release Date: February 2nd, 2016
Seriously, the title says enough. If Men With Cats: Intimate Portraits of Feline Friendship doesn’t make you curious, or maybe make you laugh out loud, then skip to the next link.
Before 2009, I wasn’t a cat guy. My dad and sister were allergic, and all the cats I knew would spend their days under furniture hissing at any would-be petters. So when my wife took me to a friend’s house and surprised me by saying, “Oh, yeah, we’re getting a cat,†I was a bit the contrarian. Being a kitten owner for 6 years now has been great. It’s like having an extra loving family member who always greets you at the door, and occasionally trips you when you walk.
Author David Williams began this journey in 2009 as well. A long-time pet owner and cat lover, he found that a lot of men were into cats as well… debunking the popular “men and dogs†stereotype. Starting with friends and moving along to actors, artists, mechanics, chefs, and mountain men, Williams took photos of men with their feline friends.

Some Very Interesting Cats Perhaps You Weren’t Aware Of
Hardcover | Kindle
By Doogie Horner
Workman Publishing
Release date: October 20, 2015
In this age of the Internet, cats rule. They’re everywhere. They make us squeal with delight, coo at their adorableness, and laugh at all their video hijinks. That’s why a novelty book like Some Very Interesting Cats Perhaps You Weren’t Aware Of fits in very well with today’s audiences.
This new full-color small hardcover book comes from author and illustrator Doogie Horner, whose insanely adorable 100 Ghosts: A Gallery of Harmless Haunts made our 2013 All Hallows Read recommendations. In Some Very Interesting Cats Horner gives us a look at just that — a tiny glimpse at the secret lives of 100 or so very interesting cats (one of nine lives per cat, that is). But unlike famous felines Morris the finicky spokesperson, Socks the Presidential pet, or current internet sensations Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub, the furballs featured in this illustrated collection are very little known. For example, there’s David, the Werecat, who was bitten upon the Scottish moors; the “Declawed” Boots Tidyman — you thought he was defenseless, think again!; and my favorite, Snickers, the Hideous Stray, who comes to your door not for a saucerful of milk, but rather for your souls (he’s swallow your soul!!!).

Watch ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine Cat’: Adamantium-Clawed Kitty Shreds!

From the people who brought you Thor Kid comes a new video called X-Men Origins: Wolverine Cat and with a title like that, you should hit the jump and watch that shit. I’ve also included the making-of video, which has some deleted shots – don’t worry, watching the behind-the-scenes magic won’t spoil it for you, you’ll still enjoy seeing the Adamantium-clawed kitty tear shit up.
And while we’re on the subject of cats, I thought I’d give a shout-out to my talented kitty-sister, Layla The Counting Maine Coon Cat, who recently learned to count to seven — to 7, people! She also does Hi Fives, Hi Tens, and Roll Overs. Watch her latest video here. Treats!
