
The stories of Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf, from The Witcher are perhaps best known from developer CD Projekt RED’s video game series, which includes 2007’s The Witcher, 2011’s The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, and 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
But the games are actually based on Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski‘s short stories and novels, which are now set to be adapted into a new feature-length movie currently expected to be released in 2017. It’s been announced that Platige Films has joined forces with the Sean Daniel Company for the movie, which is being planned as the first in a series of movies.
