| Netflix Reveals New Suit for Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’
Marvel’s Daredevil series on Netflix was a big hit back in April, so it’s no surprise that we’ll be getting a Season 2 and with the addition of Elektra! While we have to wait for the second season to launch next year, we are now getting a peek at the Man With No Fear’s new suit! An image of the updated suit was posted to Twitter today by the official Daredevil account with the caption “The suit makes the man.” The image shows the costume and you can see there’s more black throughout, as well as a helmet, inside a box with his white cane for the blind right outside it. Also, the Manufacture New York account posted a photo of Daredevil costume designer Stephanie Maslansky’s new creation being modeled at this month’s Sourcing at Magic trade show in Las Vegas. Check out the images here below (image at top is from Season 1).

| ‘The Walking Dead’s Jon Bernthal Is Punisher In ‘Daredevil’ Season 2
Rumors swirled last week that The Punisher may appear in season 2 of Daredevil. This was an exciting opportunity to bring in a Marvel anti-hero that failed to see any success theatrically. But the character doesn’t come without difficulties to bring to the small screen, because the anti-hero employs murder, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence, and torture in his war on crime. However it looks like Marvel and Daredevil showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez will be up to the task, as it has been confirmed that Punisher will appear in season 2, and that The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal will play him. More on the story below.

| Joss Whedon Almost Got ‘Daredevil’ To Be A Movie
Joss Whedon became an executive creative consultant after The Avengers became a hit. His input on the Phase 2 films helped crafted the current Marvel Cinematic Universe. Even though Avengers: Age of Ultron is his final film, Marvel has expanded to TV with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, and the Netflix deal. That Netflix deal would see Daredevil, AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist have their own series before coming together for a Defenders series. But Daredevil almost wasn’t a TV show, in fact, thanks to Whedon, it was almost a movie. The director was actually pushing for a movie, and called the character “Marvel’s Batman.” More on this below.

| You Should Be Watching Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ Right Now… Here’s Why |
 |

Right now in the magical ether of the internet, on mystical servers of awesome just waiting for you to say the magic word, is a show that you should be watching instead of doing anything else. That show is Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix. Available through Netflix streaming as of April 10th, the series centers on Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox. By day he’s a lawyer working out of Hell’s Kitchen in New York City. He’s just getting off the ground with his college buddy and best friend Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). They’re in business to make a difference in their city. To find justice and protect the innocent away from the scumbag lawyers they interned with during their matriculation. Oh yeah, Murdock is also blind. After a childhood accident that cost him his sight, Murdock has since developed his other senses to turn him into the “Devil of Hell’s Kitchen,” a masked vigilante with amazing martial arts skills and heightened awareness and physical capabilities. The “Devil” — who evolves into the titular Daredevil — also fights for justice and protection of the city just in a more punchy way. The beauty of the Netflix format is that the episodes are released all at once, allowing you to watch an entire season at your own convenience, or if you’re really into it (like me), you can watch all 13 episodes in one weekend. After the binge, I have to say that Daredevil is amazing and in my opinion has changed the game for comic book-based television shows. If you turned off your Netflix account, it’s about time to fire it back up because here’s a few reasons why you should be watching Marvel’s Daredevil right now.
