| ‘Nine Lives’ Trailer: Yes, It’s True! Kevin Spacey Is A Cat Named Mr. Fuzzypants
The first trailer for Nine Lives has just arrived. The comedy stars Kevin Spacey as Tom Brand, an outlandish billionaire workaholic who is disconnected from his family. He attempts to make his adorable daughter happy by giving her the one thing he hates the most: a cat. Before Tom can give his gift to his daughter, he gets into an accident, and when he awakens, he discovers that his consciousness is trapped inside a cat. It sounds too crazy to be true, but it is an actual film from Men In Black director Barry Sonnenfeld. In fact, we reported on the news almost a year ago, and now we are getting our first look at Nine Lives, which Sonnenfeld describes as a “funny, emotional, commercial comedy.” Check out the first trailer below.

| Trailer For Zombie Rom-Com ‘Life After Beth’ Starring Aubrey Plaza, Dane DeHaan
A trailer has been released for an upcoming indie zom-com titled Life After Beth. The movie stars Aubrey Plaza as Beth and Dane DeHaan as Zach, a couple torn apart when she dies unexpectedly. But when she comes back to life as a zombie it’s a chance for their relationship to resume. But as time goes on and she begins transitioning into a walking corpse with an insatiable hunger for humans, things get a little complicated for Zach. You can check out the first trailer for Life After Beth below.

| Deal: ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6’ DVDs |
We’re nearing the end of Amazon’s week of HBO deals, with today’s Gold Box spotlight deal being Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6 on DVD for $89.99 (that’s 62% off the list price $238.98). This sale is only for today til midnight PST while supplies last. This deal bundles together the six individual season DVDs (meaning, it’s not a box set). If you do the math (which I typically do), you’ll that that works out to about $15 per season as opposed to the nearly $40 list price — even with Amazon’s usual discount, each season averages around $30. Therefore, this is a huge savings and definitely worth getting if you’re a fan of the series. For those of you not familiar with this half-hour HBO series, it stars Larry David, who co-created Seinfeld and was the basis for the George Costanza character. In Curb, David plays himself, which if you thought Costanza was outrageous, you should see the “real” Larry David.

| Deal: Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6 For $83 |

Continuing their week of HBO deals, today’s Gold Box spotlight deal at Amazon is Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6 for $82.99 (down 65% from $238.98). If you do the math (which I typically do), you’ll that that works out to less than $14 per season as opposed to the nearly $40 list price — even with Amazon’s usual discount, each season averages around $30. Most episodes are packed with famous actors, also playing themselves, and typically, Larry David will always put his foot in his mouth and do something extremely inappropriate. It’s funny as hell, but also so cringe-inducing, as you can’t believe some of the things he does. What makes this show really stand out is the fact that the episodes are not scripted. Each episode has a storyline, but then the actors improvise their dialogue, which is what makes the situations they’re in seem all the more real. Comedians Cheryl Hines and Jeff Garlin (Wall-E) are in character as David’s wife and best friend, respectively, while frequent reoccurring guest stars are Richard Lewis, Ted Danson, and Wanda Sykes (all as themselves).
