| HBO Confirms ‘True Blood’ Season 4 Debut DateHBO confirmed today that the debut date for fourth season of True Blood will be Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 9PM (ET/PT). True Blood Season 4 will have a 12-episode run on HBO. True Blood Season 3 is now available for pre-order on DVD and Blu-ray, and will be released on May 31, 2011. Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, this hit drama series was created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy-winning series “Six Feet Under.” The show follows the romance between waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), who can hear people’s thoughts, and her soul mate, 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).

| Josh Cooley’s Inappropriate Golden Books Art
Remember the Little Golden Books, the innocuously illustrated children’s book series of nursery rhymes, fairy tales, and ways to learn one’s ABC’s that’s been around since 1942? Well, Josh Cooley, story artist at Pixar Animation Studios, has been having fun in his free time over the past few years making what he dubs “Inappropriate Golden Book“-style illustrations based on popular films. Cooley compiled his fun illustrations, which include scenes from Alien, The Godfather, The Big Lebowski, and many more, into one book titled Movies R Fun, currently available through his online shop for $35.

| Deal: ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6’ DVDs |
We’re nearing the end of Amazon’s week of HBO deals, with today’s Gold Box spotlight deal being Curb Your Enthusiasm: The Complete Seasons 1-6 on DVD for $89.99 (that’s 62% off the list price $238.98). This sale is only for today til midnight PST while supplies last. This deal bundles together the six individual season DVDs (meaning, it’s not a box set). If you do the math (which I typically do), you’ll that that works out to about $15 per season as opposed to the nearly $40 list price — even with Amazon’s usual discount, each season averages around $30. Therefore, this is a huge savings and definitely worth getting if you’re a fan of the series. For those of you not familiar with this half-hour HBO series, it stars Larry David, who co-created Seinfeld and was the basis for the George Costanza character. In Curb, David plays himself, which if you thought Costanza was outrageous, you should see the “real” Larry David.

| ‘Seinfeld’ Cast To Reunite On ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’
Seinfeld fans have longed for it since the moment the show aired its final episode eleven painful years ago. The cast of the brilliant and quite possible funniest show ever made, Seinfeld, will make their first on-screen, scripted appearance together since the shows end. The whole gang — Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander, and Michael Richards will get together for a new story arc that will span multiple episodes on the ultra-sarcastic and hilarious HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm. The show, as most know, stars Larry David, who created Seinfeld with Jerry Seinfeld. Don’t get your hopes up too, too high; the appearances will be as themselves and not as their characters on Seinfeld. Even so, I’d be shocked if you didn’t see the actors offering up some very distinctive dialogue or reactions to give fans that warm and fuzzy feeling of pure unfiltered nostalgia.
