THR reports that the comedy now titled, Clear History, will center on a marketing executive (David) who makes the terrible decision of getting into a petty argument with his boss and abruptly quits his job at a new electric car company. Ten years later he realizes the mistake he made when he sees the same company he worked for is now worth billions, so he changes his name and his reputation and rewards himself by purchasing a summer cottage on a private island. However, he bumps into the same boss he quit working for and from there he decides he wants to get revenge.

This 32-disc two-volume DVD set contains all 180 episodes of the nine-season series along with The Official Coffee Table Book, a 226-page, bound anthology filled with photos, quotes, trivia from every episode. This collectible book comes with a bonus disc featuring “The Roundtable,” an hour-long feature that’s a reunion of the entire cast along with Larry David on the ninth anniversary of the series finale.

This deal bundles together the six individual season DVDs (meaning, it’s not a box set). If you do the math (which I typically do), you’ll that that works out to about $15 per season as opposed to the nearly $40 list price — even with Amazon’s usual discount, each season averages around $30. Therefore, this is a huge savings and definitely worth getting if you’re a fan of the series.

For those of you not familiar with this half-hour HBO series, it stars Larry David, who co-created Seinfeld and was the basis for the George Costanza character. In Curb, David plays himself, which if you thought Costanza was outrageous, you should see the “real” Larry David.
