Air Date: Sunday, March 5th, 2017, 9:30pm When we last saw The Last Man on Earth, the group was living in a business office complex, that wasn’t all it seemed at first. They locked Melissa (January Jones) up because she was insane. Gail (Mary Steenburgen) was mad at Carol (and the rest) and left, but got stuck in the elevator. Phil took Carol (Will Forte, Kristen Schaal) on a honeymoon. So no one looked for Gail. They thought she was blowing off steam, but she was trapped. She tried shooting her gun off as a signal, attaching a note to a Roomba (which ate it), and it seemed as if she killed herself at the end. Spoilers below.

With the film unable to make its rumored January start date, the studio has been forced to do an overhaul of the script with Joby Harold doing the rewrites. More on the story below.

| ‘The Flash’ Loses Its Second Director In A Year
Just as things were moving forward with the DCEU, The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, has hit another bump in the road. In fact, the director was featured with his fellow DCEU directors at the Warner Bros. panel at the San Diego Comic-Con just this year. Now comes word that Famuyiwa is also stepping away from the project, and for the exact same reasons that made Grahame-Smith leave. More on the story below.

| Spider-Man Animated Film Finds A Director
Spider-Man: Homecoming isn’t the only film about the Webslinger that Sony Pictures is currently working on. Sony Animation Pictures will be responsible for a currently untitled Spider-Man animated film that the studio is working on. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have both worked on the film in a creative capacity, both having written the treatment, with Lord writing the script, and both will produce. Many expected that the two would eventually be named as directors of the film, but then came word that they would direct the Han Solo movie. While this might have stalled the production of the animated film about the webslinger, it appears that Sony has found its director. New reports say Bob Persichetti will direct the Spider-Man animated movie. More on the story below.
