Written by Wendy Mericle, Speed Weed
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, October 21st, 2015, 8:00pm Last week’s Arrow ended so creepy, with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) digging up her sister (corpse played by Caity Lotz), while Thea (Willa Holland) nervously looked on. The reason for the digging? Well actually, Laurel wanted to help Thea find out exactly what was going on with her crazy Lazarus Pit after-effects. She set someone on fire. Luckily, he didn’t die. Unluckily, he turned into Anarky (Alexander Calvert). No wonder everone is worried about her. An old family friend, Jessica Danforth (Jeri Ryan), decides to run for mayor of Star City. It would have been quicker to put a bullseye on her back. H.I.V.E. tries to kill her, then kidnaps her daughter. Oliver (Stephen Amell) tells Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that he will run for mayor, inspired by Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and Jessica. Felicity has to downsize at Palmer Tech, but figures out how to not do that, saving her new future sidekick, Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum). Spoilers below.

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 2: “The Candidate”
Directed by John Behring
Written by Marc Guggenheim & Keto Shimizu
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, October 14th, 2015, 8:00pm Last week Arrow returned strong, giving us a glimpse at Olicity (Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards) suburbia, which was adorable as expected. But that would end up being a boring show that got canceled, so of course, Laurel and Thea (Katie Cassidy and Willa Holland) show up and interrupt a marriage proposal (Felicity is still in the dark). Needless to say, newly costumed Diggle (David Ramsey) is not pleased. There are “ghosts” in Star City, wreaking havoc, under the tutelege of Damien Darhk (perfectly cast Neal McDonough). He uses magic to suck life from people. He and his ghosts have killed 3 of 4 city leaders. The one survivor? The convenient Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Some spoilers below.

Written by Marc Guggenheim, Wendy Mericle, Greg Berlanti, Beth Schwartz

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, October 7th, 2015, 8:00pm Superhero season is officially back! Yesterday kicked off with The Flash, and tonight it’s time for its darker cousin, Arrow. When we last saw Oliver Queen aka Arrow (Stephen Amell), he was happily driving down a sunny road, away from the chaos and towards his new happy life with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Matt Nable‘s Ra’s al Ghul was defeated, and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) took his place. Thea (Willa Holland) embraced her inner superhero in her red leather outfit, after her boyfriend Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) left town. It looks like Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) exploded (but we know better), and Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) are still in town fighting crime, most likely against her anti-vigilante father Lance’s wishes (Paul Blackthorne). We all caught up? Don’t read on unless you’ve watched the episode, for spoilers lie ahead.

We left Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) in pure bliss; undisturbed happiness with the love of his life Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and it appeared that “O-licity” could actually have a chance. But… this is television and it’s time for a new season. So Oliver and Felicity will put bliss on hold to fight the evils of Star City; renamed after the apparent death of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Watch the new trailer below.

| Watch The CW’s ‘Arrow’ Season 4 Trailer!
First of all… oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! Second of all… The CW has released the season 4 trailer for Arrow, which bullseyes back to The CW on October 7th, and the almost 2-minute video is jam packed. I am too excited for this season to start, not only for all the new STAR city shenanigans, but for the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow lead-ins and then crossovers, plus more crossovers with The Flash. The connections between the two shows were so good last season, I have no doubt next season will be even more mind-blowing. Check out the video and the pic of Diggle in his new costume (finally!) below.
