Netflix kicked off their quadruple Marvel series with Daredevil, which was then followed by Jessica Jones. Luke Cage and Iron First are the subsequent series that comes next, followed by the ensemble Defenders series. Like most series that have a second season it will feature new stories and new characters. One of these new characters will be the fan-favorite Punisher who is known for dealing out his own brand of justice and has a heavy arsenal.

Jon Bernthal will play The Punisher, much to the delight fans of Daredevil and the comic book character. Though we haven’t seen much of him – except through leaked set photos – it was only a matter of time before we got to see him. Marvel’s TV plans go far beyond Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Carter, and the four series on Netflix.
