Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is making the promotional rounds for his new movie San Andreas and the actor is never one to miss out on an opportunity to be entertaining and also take up serious discussions like “Could DC Comics’ villainous Black Adam take out Marvel Comics’ King of the Inhumans, Black Bolt?” According to Johnson, “Black Adam would crush Black Bolt.” MTV UK was doing the interviewing that brings up the very serious subject matter and you can check out a video of it below. While the guys over at MTV think Johnson is “confused” and “adorable” about the Marvel universe. I myself can tell that The Rock is laying the sarcasm on thick.

| Dwayne Johnson To Star In ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ Remake
Dwayne Johnson has proven himself to be a viable movie star thanks in part to the $53 million weekend opening that his latest feature San Andreas posted. Now the actor is set to star and produce a remake of John Carpenter’s Big Trouble In Little China, which will be written by X-Men: First Class scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz. More on this story below. According to The Wrap, Johnson will play the role of Jack Burton, “an All-American trucker who gets dragged into a centuries-old mystical battle in San Francisco’s Chinatown.”

| New ‘San Andreas’ Trailer “California Dreamin'”
Warner Brothers has released a new trailer for the earthquake disaster movie San Andreas, which is set to be released in theaters later this week. The new preview is titled “California Dreamin’,” the name of the cover song by Sia used in the trailers. You can check out previous trailers right here if you missed them. The movie stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Paul Giamatti, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone-Burt, and Art Parkinson. | Spike TV’s ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Renewed For Season 2!
Spike TV’s biggest show ever, Lip Sync Battle, has just been renewed for a second season, after just four episodes. This viral sensation, which started out as a Jimmy Fallon bit, first on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, and then on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, got its own show that premiered on Spike on April 2nd, 2015. That was quick, right? It is no surprise though. The show is mindless fun. The game pits two celebrities (not B, C, or D-listers either) against each other for two rounds of songs. The audience picks the winner. It is not just lip syncing to songs that are sometimes incongruous to the person performing. The production goes all out, with costumes, props, backup dancers, and sometimes guests. Check out some of those videos below.

| Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson To Voice Disney’s ‘Moana’ Lead
Dwayne Johnson (Furious 7, San Andreas), also known to some fans as “The Rock,” has announced that he has signed on to voice the male lead in Disney’s upcoming animated feature Moana. The movie is the Mouse House’s 56th animated feature, and the next Disney princess feature after the 2013 juggernaut Frozen. It was originally planned for 2018, but was bumped up to 2016 this past October. Johnson made the announcement via a post on his Instagram account, complete with an image of him in the process of signing the contracts. In addition to voicing the lead, the action superstar revealed that he’ll also be showing off his singing talents in the movie as well. Below you can see what Johnson had to say about joining the project along with the image he shared, and maybe even videos of The Rock singing some tunes…if you simply just cannot wait until Moana is released to hear his voice.
