Release Date: April 3, 2015 The Fast and Furious franchise is one that lives up to its title. Incredibly fast-paced racing, furiously high-octane action sequences, and those one-liners, each new installment brings something new to the table. What makes the franchise so special is that it finds a way to adapt to the changing trends, going from underground illegal street racing to bank heists and beyond. This keeps everything fresh, and has the audience coming back for more. Even with the changes, the franchise never loses sight of its roots by continuously focusing on the themes of cars and, most importantly, family. Furious 7 may be the most somber film of the series. The tragic passing of star Paul Walker presented a huge obstacle for director James Wan (Saw, The Conjuring), who had to figure out how to give the vision that fans wanted, but also pay respect to the franchise star.

| Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson To Voice Disney’s ‘Moana’ Lead
Dwayne Johnson (Furious 7, San Andreas), also known to some fans as “The Rock,” has announced that he has signed on to voice the male lead in Disney’s upcoming animated feature Moana. The movie is the Mouse House’s 56th animated feature, and the next Disney princess feature after the 2013 juggernaut Frozen. It was originally planned for 2018, but was bumped up to 2016 this past October. Johnson made the announcement via a post on his Instagram account, complete with an image of him in the process of signing the contracts. In addition to voicing the lead, the action superstar revealed that he’ll also be showing off his singing talents in the movie as well. Below you can see what Johnson had to say about joining the project along with the image he shared, and maybe even videos of The Rock singing some tunes…if you simply just cannot wait until Moana is released to hear his voice.

| ‘SNL’: Dwayne Johnson In Disney’s Live-Action Bambi (Video)
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson did his fourth stint hosting Saturday Night Live last night, where he starred in one of their digital shorts centering on a new Disney film. With Disney riding the live-action train lately with Maleficent, the recent Cinderella, and the upcoming Beauty and the Beast, now comes the adaptation we’ve all been waiting for — Bambi. Johnson appears as the title character, with his Furious 7 cast mates rounding out the rest of the beloved lineup — Vin Diesel (Taran Killam) as Thumper, Tyrese Gibson (Jay Pharoah) as Flower, and Michelle Rodriguez (Cecily Strong) as Faline, and it’s about to get real.
