| ‘La La Land’ Trailer: Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone In The City Of Stars
Judging by the look of Damien Chazelle‘s (Whiplash) La La Land, you would think that the film took place in old time Los Angeles. The music and the fashion just ooze it. | ‘La La Land’ Will Open Against ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’
Normally, we’ve reported on films that move away from the vicinity of the release date of Star Wars: Rogue One. After Star Wars: The Force Awakens claimed the number one spot at the box office for four consecutive weeks, who could blame a studio for rescheduling their films. But it seems as though Summit Entertainment didn’t get the message. That or they’ve really got a pair. The studio has shifted the release date of Damien Chazelle‘s La La Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, from its original July 15 release all the way to December 16, 2016. Which just so happens to be the same exact release date as Star Wars: Rogue One. More on the story below.

| Emma Stone In Talks To Play Cruella de Vil In Disney’s Reimagining Of ‘101 Dalmatians’
Just when you’ve thought you’ve seen all the live-action reimaginings that Disney could pull off, they come up with yet another one. 101 Dalmatians is a favorite among Disney fans, and now like Cinderella, The Jungle Book, Pete’s Dragon, Beauty And The Beast, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Mulan, Winnie The Pooh, the untitled Aladdin prequel Genie, The Sword in the Stone, Tinkerbell, and Prince Charming. La La Land will be Damien Chazelle‘s follow-up to his Academy Award winning drumming drama Whiplash. It will star Crazy Stupid Love duo Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. The two have quite the on screen chemistry, having also appeared together in the crime drama Gangster Squad. The film marks the third time that they’re paired together in a film. And now we are getting our first look at the two dancing against an L.A. backdrop as the sun sets. Check out the first image below.

| ‘Irrational Man’ Trailer: Emma Stone Saves Joaquin Phoenix From An Existential Crisis
Sony Pictures Classics has just released the first trailer for Woody Allen‘s Irrational Man starring Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Jamie Blackley, and Parker Posey. In the film, Phoenix plays Abe Lucas, a habitually gloomy philosophy professor who can’t write, can’t teach, and “couldn’t remember the reason for living, and when I did it wasn’t convincing.” But when a young student (Stone) attends one of his classes, he finds new purpose in life. Based on the trailer, the film pretty much uses the same tropes and plot devices Allen has used before in his previous films. But Posey’s character could put a small twist on things. Check out the trailer below.
