| Ben Affleck Says We’ll See A Different Kind Of Batman In ‘Justice League’
When we first saw Ben Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he was anything but happy. The Dark Knight was a pessimistic curmudgeon who believed that Superman presented a danger to the world. However, Supes’ sacrifice made him change his ways. And we’ve seen a little bit of that change in some of the trailers for Justice League. He certainly had a fun time recruiting Barry Allen (Ezra Miller). But I can’t say the same for Aquaman (Jason Momoa). But these changes in tone signify that the DCEU is walking away from the dark tones the franchise has started off with. Wonder Woman was a nice way to start off, and bringing in Joss Whedon to direct Justice League will help tone down the darkness. Now Affleck says audiences will see a different kind of Batman in Justice League. According to him, it will be a “more traditional Batman.” More on the story below.

| Rumor: ‘Justice League’ First Cut “Unwatchable”; Reshoots Fixing Tone
Movie reshoots are becoming less of a normal thing and more of something to be deeply concerned about. Oftentimes, studios would have reshoots set in place to work out some of the issues of the film. But now it looks like it’s casting more doubt than an assurance that the film will be good. Case in point, Justice League. The highly anticipated film made a huge splash recently when WB debuted the newest trailer at SDCC. However, it was then met with criticism for looking more like a video game than an actual film. Even worse, details about WB working on Zack and Deborah Snyder‘s exit from the DCEU were revealed. Then there were the reshoots that called for star Henry Cavill’s mustache to be digitally erased.

| ‘Justice League’ Reshoots: Henry Cavill’s Mustache, Joss Whedon, Scheduling Headaches
We all know reshoots are just a typical part of the blockbuster filmmaking process. Studios always have a place in the budget for them. But recent reports of reshoots have shown how problematic film production can be. And now we are getting an idea of how severe the Justice League reshoot situation is. Although they were able to rile the crowd at SDCC this past weekend, the film was still in the middle of reshoots. Of course, none of that was addressed in Hall H, but there is word that Warner Bros. is spending quite a bit of money in order for Justice League to be as big of a success as Wonder Woman, and less of a failure as Suicide Squad. More on the story below.

| SDCC 2017: 4-Minute ‘Justice League’ Trailer & Poster
As the WB panel was quickly coming to a close, the DCEU portion welcomed Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher and Jason Momoa. As a part of the Justice League, the actors play Batman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, and Aquaman, respectively. But there’s still no sight of Henry Cavill, who has played Superman for two DCEU films. A recently released poster hinted at his return when Superman’s emblem appeared as a part of the film’s tagline. The highlight of any panel of course is the footage, and WB delivered here. A huge 4-minute sneak peek trailer for the movie was shown, and then released online for the world to see. You can find it below along with a new poster.

| ‘Justice League’: Danny Elfman To Compose Score
Now that Joss Whedon has taken on the responsibility of completing production on Justice League in time for its release this fall following Zack Snyder‘s departure from the movie due to a death in his family, he has brought on the always amazing Danny Elfman to compose the score for the much-anticipated DC Films blockbuster. The hiring of Elfman comes just as Whedon is about to commence with the filming of additional scenes in London. Obviously this isn’t Elfman’s first time creating original music for a big-budget superhero movie; his score for Tim Burton’s first Batman in 1989 captured the film’s madness, melancholy, adventure, and Gothic atmosphere perfectly and continues to influence composers to this day. He also created the themes for the first TV series of The Flash, which aired for one season from 1990-1991, and Batman: The Animated Series.
