Air Date: Monday, October 12th, 2015, 8pm Many spoilers ahead for last week’s Gotham, and a couple for tonight’s episode. Beware! Last week on Gotham, it was villains betraying villains, and future villains helping future heroes, and future partners working together. How did this all come about? Theo Galavan (James Frain) sets his plan’s next phase into motion at the Children’s Hospital gala run by Lee (Morena Baccarin). It’s a wonder that any rich people go to any event in Gotham, since they always seem to be hit up. There, Jerome and Barbara (Cameron Monaghan and Erin Richards) replace the scheduled magician and assistant, to replace laughter with terror. Selina (Camren Bicondova) and Bruce (David Mazouz) make their escape, but Bruce goes back in to save Alfred (Sean Pertwee), only stopped for a moment by Jim (Ben McKenzie), who realizes they must work together to handle this. They needn’t have worried. Theo kills Jerome (ultimate villain betrayal) – “Enter the hero,” in a moment that belonged on Days of our Lives. Gotham needs a hero. And Theo plans on being one (of course causing the messes himself to stage the heroism). Adorable – Selina coming back to make sure Bruce is okay. Creepy – dead Jerome’s laugh is contagious.

Air Date: Monday, October 5th, 2015, 8pm Last week on Gotham, Alfred (Sean Pertwee) freaks out and smashes the batcave electronics, in an attempt to keep Bruce (David Mazouz) safe. Bruce fires him, but relents in a tearful (for me) way. To make it up to him, Alfred seeks out Lucius Fox (Chris Chalk) for help. That was the normal part of the episode. The crazy bananas part started with the Maniax tossing people off a building to announce their arrival. Then they tried to barbecue some cheerleaders, but Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) saved the girls. The bloody icing on the death cake is what happened to the GCPD. Barbara (Erin Richards) lured Jim from the station. That’s when Jerome (Cameron Monoghan) et al., shot up the precinct, and killed Essen. Dr. Thompkins survived, and Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) threw himself on top of Ms. Kringle. She’s definitely gonna like him now. I hope she can hold his split personality at bay. I love him. Spoilers below.

Air Date: Monday, September 28th, 2015, 8pm Last week on Gotham, Jim (Ben McKenzie) got booted off the force for nothing, by crooked commisioner Loeb (Peter Scolari). He goes to Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), who seems to already know what he wants. But what Penguin wants in return might be too high a price to pay. He visits Bullock (Donal Logue), who is bartending and very wise, spouting it as a blessing in disguise. Then he goes to Bruce (David Mazouz) because he can’t keep his promise, and Bruce kinda tells him that it’s okay to do something bad for the greater good. So Jim does that favor, gets back his badge, and Loeb steps down. Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) is losing it, talking to his evil self in the mirror. Theo and Tabitha Galavan (James Frain and Jessica Lucas) break into Arkham, and bust out some of the most wanted, including Barbara (Erin Richards) and Jerome (Cameron Monoghan). Theo has big plans for them and for Gotham. Be sure to check out the X-Files promo during tonight’s Gotham and Minority Report. And… spoilers for tonight’s episode below.
