| SDCC 2014: ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Comic-Con Trailer Premiere
The Walking Dead cast and producers came to Hall H today at San Diego Comic-Con to introduce the world premiere of the trailer for Season 5. I did write up a really great description of the footage, but before I could even post it, AMC released the trailer online, so now you can watch it here below! We’re still sitting in the panel, so we’ll have more details from the event soon, so be on the look out for that and lots of photos of the cast.

| SDCC 2014: ‘Last Of Us’ Movie Panel
The first panel in Friday’s San Diego Comic-Con Hall H was listed solely as “Sneak Preview,” so the audience didn’t know what to expect. The lights dimmed, and the distinctive guitar of Gustavo Santaolalla filled the room. A trailer for a remastered version of Naughty Dog’s groundbreaking PlayStation game The Last of Us played on the screens, ending with the text “Soon to be a major motion picture.” The crowd erupted as the house lights went up and Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross came to the podium. He announced that this panel will be to discuss the film adaptation in development and introduced producer Sam Raimi and original video game writer and creative director Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog to the panel.

| ‘Game Of Thrones’ Star Maisie Williams In Talks For ‘The Last Of Us’ Film Adaptation
It’s something the fans have been hoping for and now it might be a reality — Maisie Williams, the young actress who stars on TV’s Game of Thrones as Arya Stark, is in talks to play the role of Ellie in the film adaptation of the popular video game The Last of Us. The news was revealed today at San Diego Comic-Con during the Screen Gems panels with the filmmakers, producer Sam Raimi and creative director/screenwriter Neil Druckmann, who encouraged the packed Hall H audience to give Williams their approval later today when the actress appears in the hall for the Game of Thrones panel. | SDCC 2014: Paramount Panel: TMNT, Interstellar, Project Almanac, Hercules, Hot Tub Time Machine 2
The final film panel of San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H on Thursday belonged to Paramount Pictures, which presented Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Project Almanac, Hercules, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, and Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. As the room darkened the voice of SpongeBob Squarepants was heard over the speakers, searching for Hall H. Voice actor Tom Kenny then came on to cheers from the crowd as he introduced footage from the film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, in which Spongebob and crew have to leave the ocean to become superheroes to save Bikini Bottom. This was followed by a video retrospective of the history of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, from the earliest sketches to the cultural phenomenon that followed.
