The United Federation of Planet’s most famous science officer, Spock, took a moment to extend us all a very logical bit of goodwill for the holidays. I don’t know about you, but I plan on adopting this as my de facto greeting from this day onward.

Christmas is upon us and we here at Geeks at Doom are celebrating the occasion as only we know how: by digging up holiday-themed oddities for your employment.

Today we have an extra special treat for you. Back in 1968 Terry Gilliam was working as an animator for the British children’s series Do Not Adjust Your Set, which starred several of his fellow future members of Monty Python, when he produced this 3-minute-long ode to the classic imagery and rituals we commonly associate, and that some of us deep down really want to rip to shreds and defile the remains. One of my places to see the holiday sights is at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Not only are the decorations through the theme parks spectacular, but so are the displays through the entire Resort (meaning, the many hotels located on Disney propriety inside the “World”).

Each resort really does it up nicely, and typically has a giant gingerbread and chocolate display. And if there’s one way to get my attention, it’s to create something cool out of gingerbread and/or chocolate.

JeffLangeDVD has posted a bunch of videos to YouTube of the edible holiday displays at the Disney World Resort, like the Gingerbread Carousel at Disney’s Beach Club that actually spins!

The fine folks over atTeam Unicorn have put together this quaint little video entitled ‘A Very Zombie Holiday’. They packed it chock full of tender morsels concerning how to survive a holiday zombie attack, such as locking your doors and arming your children.

Funny, but foolish, you humans be.
